Hi! I'm Kailyn D'Elena, an illustrator from Rhode Island currently based in Baltimore, Maryland. I'm an undergraduate student pursuing a BFA in Illustration at the Maryland Institute College of Art. I'm currently exploring a variety of fields including surface design, printmaking, independent book and zine publishing, and sequential art and comics.
I love to tell stories ranging from playful and humorous to poignant and introspective. My work often explores themes of gender, sexuality, mental illness, and interpersonal relationships. Even with serious narratives, I love incorporating cute visual motifs like animals, space, food, and nature!
